What is Missions Ministry About?
Matthew 28:19-20
"Go therefore and make disciples of all nations...
... baptizing them in the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all that I commanded you; and lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age.”
Jesus promised He would build His Church, Matthew 16:18. As His Church, we have been called to make faithful followers and worshippers of Jesus
How are we pursuing this mission?
Partnering with Gospel-centered missionaries and their ministries, both locally and abroad, to make the name of Jesus known through making disciples and by caring for widows and orphans.
"Pure and undefiled religion in the sight of our God and Father is this...
James 1:27
...to visit widows and orphans in their distress, and to keep oneself unstained from the world."

Mission Spotlight

To share the Gospel to people in need of God's love and forgiveness through our Lord Jesus Christ.
Living Way Gospel Ministries: Pastor Harvin & Cleofe Alorro

The Bridge Christian Fellowship partnered with them in 2006, sending financial support, as well as teams from our Shepherds and Student Ministry, to mutually encourage and serve together through: training and encouraging pastors and church leaders, hosting youth rallies, joining them in their gospel outreaches to the barrios and elsewhere. LWGM have churches from the northern island of Luzon all the way South to Muslim majority, Mindanao and Papua New Guinea. Presently there are 30 Living Way churches in total.
While Harvin was single, God led him to plant 6 churches between 1978 to 1992 throughout the Philippines. Each of these seeing more churches born and planted from their ministries. A month after being married on March 28th, 1992, they turned over another church to a pastor in the Muslim island of Mindanao. They were blessed to establish a church between 92' and 96' that grew steadily. This church produced 5 more outreach focused churches. They prayed that God would allow them to plant an "Antioch" type of church and a missions-base in Cebu, Harvin's home island. God blessed their request with favor and planted three more between 97' and 99'.
In 2000, when it was very clear to both of them that God has blessed them with the gift of planting churches, they began the process of registering the new church, Living Way Gospel Ministries, aka LWGM, in Mandaue City, Cebu, Philippines. The Spirit of God began to deal with Pastor Harvin concerning the concept of "CC8 System of Evangelism and Discipleship" in response to Christ's Great Commission, Matt. 28:19-20. Since then, they have seen over 20 of their church plants embrace this system of ministry and see the fruitfulness of disciples continue to blossom.
The LWGM leadership's desire is to extend more church planting ministries as He enables His servants, under God's grace and provision. "May God richly bless us more abundantly. We give Father God our adoration, and to our Lord JESUS CHRIST all the glory and honor, for what He has done through the Holy Spirit."
