What are these small groups about?
Devoted to Fellowship
Acts 2:42
"They were continually devoting themselves to the apostles’ teaching and to fellowship, to the breaking of bread and to prayer"
One of the hallmarks of faith in Jesus and being part of His Church is FELLOWSHIP. In other words, community and relationship with Jesus as the center, the anchor, the focal point, of why we gather. God didn't create man; He created man AND woman. Jesus didn't call one Apostle; He appointed twelve. The "Church" isn't an institution, we are a body of believers who depend on one another, who seek to function in harmony, growing in unity with Christ as our head, 1 Corinthians 12:12-27. We are made for fellowship, Hebrews 10:23-25.

Where do they meet?
From Home to Home
Acts 2:46
"Day by day continuing with one mind in the temple, and breaking bread from house to house, they were taking their meals together with gladness and sincerity of heart..."
Our home groups gather for fellowship throughout the week, from Anacortes to Oak Harbor, Fidalgo and throughout Whidbey Island in people's homes. Homes, not facilities, are the bastion of deep relationships and family. Whether you've grown up in Jesus, are brand new in faith, or still searching, there's a place for you.
How do these work?
No matter what Home Group you visit, you can look forward to experiencing what we read about in Acts 2:42 & 46: prayer together and for each other, discussing and sharing from the latest Sunday teaching in God's word, experiencing relationship through Christ-centered fellowship, sharing meals, and even communion.
Why are these important?
A relationship with Jesus does not happen in a vacuum. When we are born again through Him, John 3:3, we're not only adopted by our Heavenly Father, but also into a family of fellowship with other believers where we grow up together in Christ, Ephesians 2:20-22. A healthy body grows in strength and maturity when every member of it is united, depending on each other's strengths and helping care for one another in our weaknesses, 1 Corinthians 12:12-27. Home Groups help people grow in their faith through fellowship, Hebrews 10:23-25.
